HAND BELL RINGING FOR CHRISTMAS 2002
As Christmas is only just around the corner, the hand bell ringers
are having their first practice on Monday 4th November, at 8.00 p.m.
at 21 The Village, Powick. Anyone who would like to try hand bell ringing
is very welcome, either beginners or those who have rung before. If
you would like further information contact Lynn or Mary or come along
on 4th November. §
CONFIRMATION
The Confirmation this year is on Sunday 24th
November at 6.30 p.m. in Malvern Priory; this is for the whole Deanery.
We have a number of candidates being confirmed. Please make every effort
to come and support them on this important day.
BIBLE SOCIETY LUNCH PROCEEDS
We are pleased to report that £148-00 has been sent to the Bible
Society which helps God's word take centre stage in the lives of many
more people worldwide. All the foodstuffs were contributed by individuals
and by Tesco, St. Johns Co-op and the Angel greengrocery shop, which
made it possible to send all the very generous donations made at the
lunch. Thank you. Our sincere gratitude. Rosemary
and Thea.
HOUSEBOUND??
If you are stuck at home and unable
to get to church to receive Holy Communion it is possible to
have communion at home. All you need to do is contact David
Nichol and arrangements can be made for it to be brought to you.
ECUMENICAL GERMAN KIRCHENTAG
A gathering of German Christians in Berlin from 28th May to 1st June,
2003. If you are interested in being part of a massive gathering in
